Quick Overview
The Acuario is now the only hotel in Havana operating on all-inclusive basis. The hotel is a perfect example of quirky post-modernist Cuban architecture – has a huge sunlit lobby, a buffet restaurant, plus bar and games room, but the main appeal is the fabulous and vast swimming pool with poolside bar and café favored by foreign boaters, who lend a party atmosphere. An adjoining complex features boutique, a pharmacy, and beauty parlor. The Acuario Hotel is located at the Marina Hemingway which has its own complex of stores, restaurants, bars, shopping center, disco, post office, docks for yachts, port, international diving center and hotels. Only 9.3 miles away from Havana’s international airport and 30 minutes away from downtown. The Habanabustour, introduced in 2008, provides a new and cheap option to get about Havana from the marina.
