By the end of 18th Century, it was Don Sebastián de Peñalver’s property and at the beginning of the 19th Century, Marquis of San Felipe and Santiago Right owned the building.


Just at the popular Plaza de Francisco de Asis, where the Fountain of the Lions carved in Carrara marble by the Italian artist Giuseppe Gaggini is located, visitors will find this six-storey hotel. On top of the building, at the beautiful terrace visitors can enjoy, with the help of a telescope, a beautiful view of Havana.
