Connemara is your next destination and its beautiful lake and mountain, spend the night in the Abbeyglen Castle, like a lord. Don´t miss the Land of Castles: Clare and discover the magnificent view from Cliffs of Moher.

Drive around the Dingle Peninsula and visit the Blasket Islands Heritage Center. It´s time to go to a medieval city: Limerick and purchase splendid crafts on offer, continue to Kildare and spend an overnight in Barberstown Castel: live like lord!!

Day: 0 Departure from Canada
Arrive on time for your departure from Hamilton Airport to Iceland for your connecting flight to Dublin.

Hop aboard your Play Airlines flight and brace yourself for the adventure!

Day: 1 Dublin Arrival
Pick up your car and travel into Dublin to check in to your hotel.

The remainder of the day can be spent exploring this vibrant and historical capital city with its many historic buildings, Georgian streets and colorful gardens.

Your first night is spent in a castle hotel in Dublin area.

Overnight: Dublin area.

Day: 2 Dublin City
Explore some of Dublin´s fine Museums and Galleries today.

Visit Dublinia at Christchurch, which brings the turbulent history of medieval Dublin vividly to life. Yous should also stop by the 16th. century Trinity College founded by Elizabeth I and now home for the famous Illuminated manuscript, the Book of Kells.

Don´t forget about the Guinnes Storehouse for a tasting of this world famous "black stuff" before you return to your hotel. area.

Day: 3 Galway & Clifden
Leave Dublin this morning and travel across the rich midland pastures. Visit Belvedere House, Gardens and Park, the magnificent early 18th. century stately home of Robert Rochfort, Earl of Belvedere.

Arrive into Galway, which has long traded with Spain and the Spanish influences in the city are many.

Continue to Connemara region, famous for the savage beauty of its lake and mountain scenery and on to Clifden where  yu shall be staying in the wonderful Abbeyglen Castle which has a panoramic view of Clifden.

Day: 4 Connemara
Visit Connemara National Park where Connemara ponies and Irish red deer roam freely through 5,000 acres of scenic mountains, bogs and grassland.

You can also visit the magnificent Kylemore Abbey -  a beautiful mansion in a lakeside setting against a mountainous backdrop.

Take a scenic drive through Leenane where you have an option to board the Sea Cruise through Killary Fjord.

Day: 5 Connemara & Clare
Leave Clifden and travel south into Clare, known as the "land of castles".

Travel on through the strange landscape of the Burren region or visit the Cliff of Moher, a spectacular 5-mile-long cliff, which rises almost 200 m above sea level.

Stop in the heritage town of Kilrush, before boarding a ferry to Tarbert (ferry not included) in north County Kerry. Travel on to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day: 6 The Dingle Peninsula
Drive around the Dingle Peninsula before arriving in Dunquin, on the westernmost tip of the peninsula where you can visit the Blasket Islands Heritage Center.

Weather permitting you cab embark on a 2 - 3 hours boat trip around the nine main Blasket Islands. Return to the hotel for the night.

Day: 7 Limerick to Dublin
Drive to the medieval city of Limerick, either exploring its history and architecture or purchasing some of the splendid crafts on offer.

Why not visit the Hunt Museum, an exhibition of one of Ireland´s greatest private collections of arts and antiquities.

Leave Limerick and travel eastwards towards Straffan in Co. Kildare. Visit the imposing Rock of Cashel which rises dramatically from the flat countryside. Continue through rica pastures of Ireland´s midlands before arriving in Kildare for your overnight in Barberstown Castle, a 13th century castle located in the heart of the horse-breeding country of Kildare.

Day: 8 Dublin departure Travel to Dublin Airport, drop off the car.

Arrive on time for your departure from Berlin Airport to Iceland for your connecting flight to Canada.

Additional information about your rent car

. Additional Driver Charge:
EUR 10.00 per day, per driver including tax 
. Minimum Age:
23 / 24 years – can drive group E only. A young driver surcharge of EUR 26 per day including tax will be applied.
25+ Years Groups E & F
. Damage excess will be an amount of EUR 2,000.
. Driver License:
Must hold a current national license valid for at least 2 years or more at time of rental. Provisional / Learner drivers or seriously endorsed license holders are not eligible to rent a car e.g. drink driving disqualification.
. Maximum Age:
Customers aged between 75 - 79 years can rent with specific conditions:
(1) Must drive regularly & hold a current motor insurance policy
(2) Provide a letter from your doctor to state you have been in good health for at least 12 months.
(3) Provide a letter from their insurers to state that they have not been involved in any incidents in the last 5 years.
. Baby Seats:
Suitable for children aged between 6 Months – 4 / 5 years on request basis. €40.00 per hire or if not returned a charge of EUR 100 will be implemented incl tax Booster Seats:
Booster seats are suitable for children aged between 5 - 11 years.
. A charge of €15.00 per hire will be applied GPS - Navigation System "Never Lost"
GPS: €11.35 per day, with a maximum of € 68.10 per week rental including tax. Payable direct by the customer.
. Hours Grace:
Clients are allowed a 29 minutes grace period Cross Border Fee
Renters travelling into Northern Ireland will incur a Cross Border fee of EUR 30.00 – payable directly by the renter
. Deposit: Credit Card (Damage Excess & Petrol Deposit) Credit card at commencement of rental is mandatory – to cover toll fees, speed cameras, parking offences, etc. Cash payment may be made at end of rental.
. Damage Excess can be reduced to Zero by purchasing an additional product called Super Cover (SDW). Clients must purchase SDW & must pay by credit card. Some items are not included in SDW - Tyres, Wheels, Keys or fuel.
