Arrive at Dublin Airport, pick up your rent car and drive to the city centre, enjoy the rest of the day and get ready to head, on next day, northward and visit most of the iconically spotted castles in the TV show and The Brave Heart movie.

Enjoy a panoramic tour Belfast City and see some of the landmark sites such as City Hall and Queen University, continue to the north-east shores of Lough Neagh ad discover in Cairncastle, the locations for many other scenes from GOT.  More to see in locations in Glenarm on the north Antrim coastline. Experience the highlight of any trip to Northern Ireland: The Giant’s Causeway, where about 40,000 interlocking basalts columns result from a volcanic eruption.  The site was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.

From Derry to Donegal is a lot to discover from National Parks to Castles. Return to Dublin and don´t miss the opportunity to visit Marble Arch Caves with its the most beautiful of underworld rivers, waterfalls and chambers.

Day: 0 Departure from Canada
Arrive on time for your departure from Hamilton Airport to Iceland for your connecting flight to Dublin.

Hop aboard your Play Airlines flight and brace yourself for the adventure!

Day: 1 Fáilte go Héireann
Arrive at Dublin Airport, pickup your car and drive to the city centre for Dublin City Tour.
In the afternoon you will enjoy a visit to the Guinness Storehouse.

Overnight: Dublin area

Day: 2 Dublin to Belfast
This morning depart Dublin and head northwards. Visit Trim Castle which was udes to film the York and London scenes for Braveheart. travelling Nort, head for Downpatrick, burial ground of Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland and visit the Castle Ward, to visit some of the set of GOT, series one.

Continue on to Belfast for the night. Overnight: Belfast area

Day: 3 Game of thrones tour
This morning enjoy a panoramic tour Belfast City. See some of the landmark sites such as City Hall and Queens University.

In the afternoon travel from Belfast to the north-east shores of Lough Neagh. Outside the village of Bally gally lies Cairncastle, the location for many other scenes from GOT. Caircancastle has its own tale on the nobleman supposedly droned along the coastline in 1588 as part of the ill-fated Spanish Armada.

Return to Belfast. Overnight in Belfast area.

Day: 4 Belfast to Ballycastle
This morning leave Belfast and travel towards the picturesque town of Glenarm on the north Antrim coastline, the setting of manu GOT scenes.

Time permitting, pay a visit to Steenson's Jewelers in the village, producer of many of the jewels featured in the hit TV Series.

Continue on along the Antrim coastline enjoying the spectacular views, rolling hills and scenic villages. Next visit Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.

Overnight: Ballycastle or Bushmills areas.

Day: 5 Giants Causeway & Derry
No visit to the north of Ireland would be complete without calling in to the Giant´s Causeway which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Made up of a network of approximately 40,000 basalt columns projecting into the ocean, forms several miles of Northern Ireland´s Causeway Coastal route.

Later visit Bushmills Distillery-one of the world´s oldest one.

Overnight: Derry area.

Day: 6 Derry to Donegal
This morning enjoy a walking tour of the walled city of Derry. Leaving Derry, you will travel to Donegal, where you can visit Glenveagh National Park and Glenveagh Castle.

Situated in the Northwest of Co. Donegal, Glenveagh encompasses some 16,000 hectares in the heart of Derryveagh Mountains. 

Drive by the nearby Glenties, where Brian Friel´s play "Dancing at Lughnasa" was filmed.

Day: 7 Donegal to Dublin
This morning commerce your return journey to Dublin. Travelling south through the Fermanagh Lake District, visit Castle Coole, a magnificent 18th. century mansion and landscape park.

Next visit nearby Marble Arch Caves, one of the Europe´s finest show caves with a fascinating natural underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers.

Overnight: Dublin area.

Additional information about your rent car

. Additional Driver Charge:
EUR 10.00 per day, per driver including tax 
. Minimum Age:
23 / 24 years – can drive group E only. A young driver surcharge of EUR 26 per day including tax will be applied.
25+ Years Groups E & F
. Damage excess will be an amount of EUR 2,000.
. Driver License:
Must hold a current national license valid for at least 2 years or more at time of rental. Provisional / Learner drivers or seriously endorsed license holders are not eligible to rent a car e.g. drink driving disqualification.
. Maximum Age:
Customers aged between 75 - 79 years can rent with specific conditions:
(1) Must drive regularly & hold a current motor insurance policy
(2) Provide a letter from your doctor to state you have been in good health for at least 12 months.
(3) Provide a letter from their insurers to state that they have not been involved in any incidents in the last 5 years.
. Baby Seats:
Suitable for children aged between 6 Months – 4 / 5 years on request basis. €40.00 per hire or if not returned a charge of EUR 100 will be implemented incl tax Booster Seats:
Booster seats are suitable for children aged between 5 - 11 years.
. A charge of €15.00 per hire will be applied GPS - Navigation System "Never Lost"
GPS: €11.35 per day, with a maximum of € 68.10 per week rental including tax. Payable direct by the customer.
. Hours Grace:
Clients are allowed a 29 minutes grace period Cross Border Fee
Renters travelling into Northern Ireland will incur a Cross Border fee of EUR 30.00 – payable directly by the renter
. Deposit: Credit Card (Damage Excess & Petrol Deposit) Credit card at commencement of rental is mandatory – to cover toll fees, speed cameras, parking offences, etc. Cash payment may be made at end of rental.
. Damage Excess can be reduced to Zero by purchasing an additional product called Super Cover (SDW). Clients must purchase SDW & must pay by credit card. Some items are not included in SDW - Tyres, Wheels, Keys or fuel.
